The Pumpkin this Year

I told a kid he'd get an extra piece of candy if he could guess what game this character is from. After a long pause, he said, "Mario?" His dad thought it was Mr. Do. Dad gets points for at least knowing the name of an obscure game character.

Believe it or not kids, Final Fantasy 7 wasn't the first Final Fantasy game they made.

I gave the kid an extra piece of candy anyway.

Happy Halloween, everybody.

I took some time to give pumpkin-carving a shot, after so many years. Convinced that a video game sprite would look good on a pumpkin, I went to work carving Mega Man. It turned out to be a lot more time consuming than I had planned. I guess I could have done something smaller or simpler. But it'll be fun when kids come to the door and have no idea who it is because it's such a dated game.

The Witches

This was a picture done for practice at work. We were given a witch theme, and I've always thought Anjelica Huston was a pretty good witch.
