19th Century Middle-Class Japanese

With as excited as I was to get to a Japanese character, you'd think I would have had less trouble making it. I tried three times, and I'm not 100% happy with this one. I just wish I hadn't gone with "fat guy" again.

I recently had the chance to explore a fascinating display about 19th century middle-class life in Japan, and it was quite an eye-opener! The exhibition really brought to life what daily routines were like for people back then—everything from their clothing to their homes and even their rituals felt very authentic.
